STICKY ORANGE CHICKEN WINGS & RICE
This is the easy piecy dish you make when you just want something fast and delicious
The items:
6-8 Chicken wings per person
Jasmin or other rice
Coconut or other oil
Corn flour
Salt
Pepper
2 eggs
200 ml water
As much ORANGE BBQ SAUCE as you like
The action:
Preheat the oven to 180° C
Boil water with salt for your rice. We prefer Jasmin rice with this dish.
Follow instructions for cooking the rice.
Pour coconut oil in a deep casserole, covering 3 cm of the bottom, bring to approx. 180° C.
Mix corn flour, salt and pepper in a bowl.
Beat eggs with water.
Dip each chicken wing into the egg mix and then the flour mix.
Put the wings into the hot oil, deep fry for about 4 minutes each side.
Don’t fry too many at a time.
Place wings in a oven-proof dish.
When they’re all fried, put the dish in the oven and bake for 10 min.
Take the wings out to get coated with our ORANGE BBQ SAUCE as many times as you wish, the more the stickier! Let cook for another 4-5 min.
The serving:
Serve with the rice.
Optional, if you want it to be a bit fancy after all:
Roast sesame seeds and chop spring onions to garnish.
The Hot Tip:
The ORANGE BBQ SAUCE is also wonderful as a dip to the wings.
